Parkering Göteborg is responsible for over 70,000 spaces in central Gothenburg and the surrounding area. Their challenge is scale: with that many spaces spread across on-street parking and car parks, detection has to work everywhere from open surfaces to tight garage decks, and the data has to land in a central system they already own. The cooperation started in 2018 with induction loops and has since moved to single-space sensors that report bay by bay. Parkering Göteborg uses large parts of Sesam PMS against their own central system, and in autumn 2022 we fitted single-space sensors on around 500 spaces at P-hus Heden.
